YOU FLOW THROUGH ME

Image
You flow through me like a river of fire, Burning and untamed, Devastating everything in your path Without ever fading. I loved you beyond words, Beyond time, Beyond what my body could hold Without breaking. You are the imprint on my skin, The echo of a kiss no one else can erase, The absence screaming in my veins, A longing that has taken human form. And even if the world were to collapse, If our souls were to be lost, Know this: I will love you always, In this life and in all the ones to come.

WE ARE INFINITE

Image
We are infinite In the blink of an eye, Eternity suspended Between a kiss and a sigh. We are the cry The universe forgot to silence, Two souls bound By an invisible, unbreakable thread. If I had to be reborn a thousand times, It would still be in your arms, Because love is not a choice, It is an inevitability.

I LOVE YOU LIKE A FIRE

Image
I love you like a fire, With no fear of the flames, no fear of the ashes, Arms reaching out to the blaze, Heart offered to the storm. I love you with a love that consumes, That bites the skin and carves the soul, A love as vast as silence, As violent as absence. You are the fever that devours my sleep, The lightning striking beneath my skin, And even if you were to leave, I would still carry your fire within me.

LOVE THAT DEVOURS

Image
I loved you until I disappeared, Until I became the shadow of your shadow, Until I lost myself in your absences, No longer knowing where my body ended. I loved you like a drowning man clings to water, Like a condemned man kisses the rope, Like a madman dances in the rain Thinking it will drown his tears. You took everything. My voice, my nights, my breath, You left a void That eats me from the inside, Like a hunger that knows no end. And yet, If I had to do it all over again, I’d still love you. Even knowing you would destroy me.

YOU WON’T COME BACK

Image
You won’t come back, But I leave the door ajar, Like a fool still waiting For footsteps on the porch, For the key to turn in the lock. You won’t come back, But I sleep on the left side, I keep your pillow untouched, As if the ghost of you Might still rest there at night. You won’t come back, But I write to you anyway, In letters I burn, In silences that scream your name. You won’t come back. And yet, every beat of my heart Still knocks on your door.

I LOVED A RUIN

Image
I loved a ruin, A broken heart I thought I could mend, An abyss I threw myself into, Thinking I’d find shelter there. I loved a mirage, A love that only existed through me, A fire I kept feeding While you looked the other way. I dug graves for our promises, I prayed for a "we" In a language you no longer spoke. And yet, I still believe. Because love is that, isn’t it? A knife we hold against our own skin, Hoping it will spare us in the end.

Drunk on You

Image
I drank from your lips like one drinks oblivion, A sweet vertigo, an endless fever. Every gaze, a wildfire, Every breath, a melody. I love you like one loves the storm, With fear and recklessness, With fire beneath the wreck, With intoxication and impatience. If you are a dream, then let me sleep, If you are the night, I will be dawn, If you drift away, I will still run, Chasing your love that steals me away.
