Love and Time

Some loves are born too soon, others arrive too late. As if the universe delights in misaligning the heartbeats of two souls meant to love each other. They cross paths, brush against each other, are drawn together, but time does not belong to them. They look at each other with an intensity that says everything that can never be spoken. They love in silence, through stolen glances, through shivers stifled in longing. But the world turns and pulls them apart, forcing them to walk parallel paths without ever truly meeting. And yet, somewhere inside, they know. They know that in another time, in another life, they would have been undeniable. Fate sometimes plays with souls, binding them together without ever allowing them to exist as one. Perhaps some loves are meant only to be suspended promises, unfinished stories that haunt the heart forever.
