The Shadow of a Past Love
They say time heals all wounds. But can we truly heal from a love that has left its mark deep within us? Some loves do not fade; they become shadows, invisible scars that still beat in rhythm with our memories.
We move forward, we smile, we pretend. But deep down, there is this fear: the fear of never feeling again. Of never loving with the same intensity, or worse, of not knowing how to love at all. When we have given everything we had, how do we rebuild something on the ruins of a past love?
Perhaps we never love in the same way twice. Perhaps each love is unique, and some leave an imprint so deep that it colors all those that come after. But maybe, one day, in the warmth of a smile, we will surprise ourselves by believing once more.
