Love and Destruction

Love can be a gentle trial, an embrace that warms the soul. But sometimes, love becomes a destructive force, a tide that sweeps everything away. It consumes, it demands, it shapes and distorts. We think that surrendering completely to another is proof of love, but where is the line between passion and self-annihilation?

Some loves are storms, where one drowns while the other still breathes. We believe we are giving everything, but in reality, we are slowly emptying ourselves. Until one day, we look in the mirror and no longer recognize ourselves. Love should not be a disappearance, and yet, how many souls lose themselves in the quest for absolute love, forgetting that they also deserve to exist beyond the other?
